Following the latest news, sport and weather at 10.00 o’clock we step into the GDR95.7fm Country Music Barn for some great Country and Western music.

Along the way, there will be a quiz or two, a little humour, and some interesting odds and ends.

Presenter Profile – Frank Formica

How did you first connect with GDR?

A few years ago I was looking for a radio station that was playing some nice easy music, old and some new, as there really was not a commercial station that played this style of music. GDR met my expectations

As secretary of Southern Suburbs Orchid Society, I saw an opportunity for the club to become a community group member, be publicised on radio and attract new members or visitors to our club.

Why did you want to be a presenter?

Too much free time and not enough stress in my life!!!!!

From a young age I saw myself as being a radio presenter but never had the opportunity until now.

What experience do you want to give your listeners?

Being valued. Being appreciated. Being important.

The feeling that the music being played is especially for you.
